Kimberly Harris, MFT-LP

Therapist

My Approach to Therapy

Kimberly believes that therapy should be a space where clients can bring their full selves without fear of judgment. Her therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in cultural humility.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Kimberly works with each client to understand their unique story, relationships, strengths, challenges, and goals. She recognizes that the experiences people carry today are often connected to family patterns, past relationships, cultural expectations, trauma, and the environments in which they have learned to survive and connect.

Kimberly helps clients explore the relationship between past experiences and present-day emotions, behaviors, communication patterns, and relationships. Her work supports clients in developing greater self-awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, establishing healthier boundaries, and creating more fulfilling connections.

For couples and families, Kimberly provides a supportive environment for identifying unhealthy interaction patterns, improving communication, rebuilding emotional connection, and developing healthier ways of navigating conflict. Her goal is not to assign blame but to help clients understand the patterns within their relationships and work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
