Deidre Drummonds, MSW Intern

Therapist

My Approach to Therapy

Deidre believes that therapy begins with a genuine and trusting relationship. Her approach is warm, supportive, collaborative, and strengths-based. She meets clients where they are without judgment and works to understand not only the challenges they are experiencing, but also the personal, family, cultural, and environmental factors that may influence their well-being.

Deidre helps clients identify their existing strengths, better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and explore practical ways to manage life's challenges. Rather than approaching therapy as a one-size-fits-all process, she works collaboratively with each client to identify meaningful goals and determine what progress looks like for them.

Her goal is to create a safe therapeutic environment where clients can speak openly, gain greater self-awareness, strengthen their resilience, and feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
